Daytona Beach, April 29, 2010…Be a ‘Daydream Believer,’ ‘Live for Today’ and get 'Happy Together,' this summer as the Peabody Auditorium presents the 2nd Annual Hippiefest & 25th Anniversary Happy Together Tour on July 30th with the fun starting at 4:00 pm. "Bring your parents, your grandparents and your kids, and be a Hippie for a day!"
On Friday, July 30 at 7:30 pm, the 25th Anniversary Happy Together Tour will kick off at The Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach with a line-up that features sixties greats: The Grass Roots, The Buckinghams, the Monkees lead singer and drummer Micky Dolenz, The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, and Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere and the Raiders.

The Happy Together Tour captures the spirit of Woodstock and other great music festivals of the era…it’s THE summer event! HIPPIEFEST STREET FESTIVAL:
Put on your tie-dye and have some psychedelic fun this summer as you join the Hippiefest Street Festival starting at 4:00 pm on Auditorium Boulevard in front of the Peabody Auditorium. This street festival is the ‘Steppin’ Stone’ to the big event, including live music, a VW show, food/beverage/merchandise vendors and so much more! Parents, grandparents and kids will have a blast and get in the mood for the star-studded concert to follow at 7:30 p.m.
