New Harley-Davidson Model Made for Touring!

Recently I visited Destination Daytona, the largest dealership for Harley-Davidson in the world at 109,000 sq. ft.  I wanted to get a look at the new Roadglide Ultra. This is the only new model of Harley-Davidson to roll out in 2011 and the feature you'll notice first is the fixed fairing.

If you like all the modern conveniences and "bells and whistles" on your motorcycle, this bike won't disappoint. On the Roadglide Ultra, the PowerPak comes standard.  The PowerPack consists of Harley's 169cc Twin Cam 103 engine, anti-lock brakes and the Smart Security System.

Destination Daytona Sales Manager Mike Watts says touring bikes are definitely their top selling models.  After seeing this bike, I'd have to say that the Roadglide Ultra is the ultimate touring bike.  There's plenty of storage space to accommodate long-distance travel, in fact double the space with 2.26 cubic-feet of storage in the saddlebags and another 2.26 cubic-feet of storage in the topcase.

The passenger area is so comfortable and amenity rich, you may never get your travel-mate off the bike! The passenger backrest has adjustable lumbar support, adjustable floorboards and with the addition of two more speakers you can plug in your MP3 player and both enjoy the 80-watt sound system.

If you're curious about this new touring model, visit one of the Harley-Davidson dealerships while you're in town for Bike Week.
